Hard to tell from a genuine watermark this gives a permanent image that can be positioned accurately anywhere on the paper.
It can be registered with other printed areas on any size of paper up to SRA4. Compliment slips, concert tickets, vouchers, certificates, etc. can now have individual watermarks.
Until recently, personalised watermarking has been an expensive project involving large quantities of paper of limited choice, taking months to produce. Simulated watermarking has all the advantages but at a fraction of the cost.
