About: Rayment-Holland

The company was formed in 1924 and has been owned by the same family for seventy three years. Orginally called 'Rayment Brothers Ltd.', the business was based in central London and was run by two brothers. After a move to Southwark Street in the nineteen thirties the business passed to the next generation of brothers. During the blitz in the second world war the factory was bombed, so a move to Raynes Park took place.

This enabled the business to continue through the war and in due course the brothers decided to part and start their own individual businesses. Both companies are still operating. 'Rayment Printers Ltd.' in Dorking was originally owned by one brother and 'Rayment, Holland & Payton Ltd.', subsequently shortened to 'Rayment-Holland Ltd.' was formed by the other, carrying on the specialist trade services started by the original Rayment Brothers. The third generation took over in 1961 (also brothers). The sole surviving brother, Trevor Rayment, a director of Rayment-Holland Ltd. for 41 years is still working as a consultant to the combined companies.

The company moved to Sutton in 1999, amalgamating with Frewer Brothers, in their larger and more convenient factory on the Kimpton Road Industrial Estate. Both companies are well known in the printing industry and have a reputation for reliable, professional service.

The company operates the following specialist services:

Die-Stamping

Embossing

Hot Foil Blocking

Thermographic & Letterpress Printing

Box Bender Creasing

Round Cornering

Window Cutting & Hand Work

In addition to the specialist services, the company manufactures and markets a range of Card Blanks and sundries for the printing industry, with a strong emphasis on Gilt Edged Cards which are sold nationally.
