Die-Stamping

Also known as Engraved Stationery, dates back to the 15th century. Our company is unique, having been engravers and die-stampers since 1770, with skills being handed down through the generations. Engraved stationery is recognised as a prestigious print process, used by professional organisations and individuals world wide.

Die-StampingIdeal for multi colour crests, coats of arms, invitation cards, letterheads and business cards with fine detailed work, the resulting raised image is quite distinctive.

With printing becoming more and more computer generated, die-stamping could solve the quest to find that special quality, something different and impressive, combining the skills of craftsmen through the centuries, with modern technology, such as computer generated artwork.

With the aid of this technology or working by hand, skilled craftsmen engrave steel dies and copperplates that are then printed on a heavy die-stamping press.

  • A wonderful burnished effect can be achieved when using gold and metallic inks, by running the printing material through a second time without ink and applying extra pressure.
  • Perfect for Personal and Business Stationery e.g. Letterheads, Business cards, Compliment slip, Invitations, Covers and Certificates, etc.
  • Die-Stamping can be used in conjuction with other printing processes.
